Job Description:
Work at the Brewers of Indiana Guild booth in the DuPont Food Pavilion. Assist fair guests with the interactive game (spin the "wheel of fortune" to answer questions about beer history, craft brewing, specific Indiana breweries, etc) and award prizes. Answer rudimentary questions about beer making and breweries/brew pubs around the state.

Time Commitment:
Work a 4 hour shift. Actual time could be up to 4:30 hours (set up, briefing to/from next shift worker, etc.). Each day of the fair will feature the following shifts:
8:50 a.m. to 1:05 p.m.
12:55 to 5:10 p.m.
4:00 to 9:10 p.m.

Benefits:
This is a volunteer position, but each volunteer will receive a $50 stipend to cover expenses for you and a guest:
·      $20 tickets (regular price tickets @ $10 each)
·      $10 parking
·      $20 for snacks

Stipend will be paid after the work day with a check mailed to home or office address. Volunteers who plan ahead can increase the amount of money they keep by buying advance-sale tickets ($7 per ticket: https://secure.in.gov/apps/statefair/tickets, or by biking to the Fair (Pedal & Park will run its secure bike check at the fairgrounds—Monon Trail at 38th St, but bikes must be retrieved by 8:00 p.m.).

DuPont Food Pavilion—What's that all about?
For the second year, the DuPont Food Pavilion will showcase and celebrate Indiana based food companies, artisans, chefs and products. Participation is by invitation only, and the Guild is excited to be back again! The DuPont Food Pavilion features a retail store, a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen, interactive exhibits and engagement opportunities for food-related companies and organizations.
We have a 20 x 10 booth (twice as big a last year, based on our 2012 popularity!).
Sign me up!
If interested, please email the Guild’s wonderful summer intern Mallory Essig (malessig@umail.iu.edu) the following info:
•   How many shifts would you like to work? (the answer "1" is perfectly fine! The Guild is grateful for every minute of help.)
•   Preferred day(s)
•   Preferred shift(s)
•   Contact info (email, mobile number, address where you’d like check mailed)
If you are flexible on days/shifts, please let us know.

THANKS very much for ALL that you do for the Indiana brewing community!
