Random Beer Roundup - The Drink Another Edition



There is plenty to do if you are looking.  Triton will be introducing their first brew, Oranje will have some local favorites and so will Art Squared in Fountain Square, and Beer Sellar has their Falltoberfest.  And that's just in Indianapolis.  On Saturday.  Check the calendar if you are feeling bored and thirsty!

Triton Brewing will tap its first beer, Fieldhouse Wheat, Sat. 9/17 at 11am. Bring in your growler or buy one for $3. Fills are $10. We will be open on Sundays from 11-5(10a on Colts 1pm  kicks) for watching games or carryout for your tailgate. Magnificent Amber taps 9/21 and Four Barrel Brown taps 9/22.

Herron-Morton Place Oktoberfest
We are holding an Oktoberfest on Sept. 24th at our park (1900 block of Alabama). It is $5 for advanced tickets and $10 at the door- all proceeds will go towards an endowment to maintain the HMP Park (event location). So far we will be serving Upland Beer, Fountain Square Brewing samples, and Schlalfy Beer samples as well as featuring live music from Hero Jr. Food vendors include Ivey Spice and Sweet Cakes by Ronda. Third Indpls Liederkranz Oktoberfest
October 01, 2011
Location: Liederkranz Hall - 1417 East Washington Street, Indpls. Free parking at Indiana FOP and Ivy Tech. 
Imagine a smaller Oktoberfest inside a dry building decorated as a German Beer Hall. Band is the Original Alpine Express that has appeared at German Park, Sun King Brewery and many other area locations.  A fun evening with dancing and gemutlichkeit!
Octoberfest will be held again on the first floor in a room that resembles a German Beer Hall. No concert, but a great band, food, and bar. An RSVP helps us serve you better. Call 782-9216.
Door open at 6:00 PM
Food is served 6:00 PM 
Entertainment: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM 
Entrance: $8 per person non-members. $4 for members

Brew Bracket is back! The tournament of craft brews returns to the Indiana State Fairgrounds this fall, with an event featuring Stouts on the afternoon of Saturday, October 8th. Come join us to taste 16 different Indiana Stouts and vote for your favorites in a blind, head-to-head comparison.
